Memorial Tattooing - Making Grief Visible

I have been interested in memorial tattoos ever since I designed my first tattoo after my pregnancy loss.

My chapter "Memorial Tattooing - Making Grief Visible" has been published in Grief and the Expressive Arts - Practices for Creative Meaning, Edited by Barbara E. Thompson, Robert A. Neimeyer.

One of the references in my chapter is:

Do you runDisney for the photo opportunities? I do! I stopped for all the character photos during the Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge. Although I completed 17 runDisney races since 2009, this was my first #RunCharacterTweetRepeat with my iPhone. I waited in lines for a long time during the Walt Disney World Half Marathon, but the pictures were worth the wait. Luckily, the lines were shorter during the Walt Disney World Marathon, so I finished with a decent time (4:34:01). Thanks MarathonFoto!
